How tuukkii works

For the Artist and Craftsperson - tuukkii provides Artists and Craftspeople with their own virtual gallery giving them with a way to display and sell their works. tuukkii does not charge its sellers an upfront fee, we simply make a commission on actual sales. tuukkii believes that all Artists and Craftspeople should be paid a fair price for their work no matter where they may live.

For the Buyer - tuukkii provides a safe and reliable way for buyers to find and purchase developing world arts and crafts at a fair and reasonable price. tuukkii acts as a third party facilitating the transaction between buyer and seller in order to protect both parties. The buyer uses tuukkii to find and purchase a particular piece of art or craft. The seller is alerted and notified as to where their work needs to be shipped. tuukkii holds the money in escrow while the art or craft is shipped to the buyer. Once the buyer has received the art or craft, they have 72 hours to review it and decide if they want to keep it. If the buyer accepts the work then the seller is paid. Should the buyer not accept it they can ship the work back to the seller at their own expense and tuukkii will refund them their money (minus transaction fees) upon its confirmed arrival to the seller.
